Morning sickness...
sign of giving birth to a new "era" of sorts.
Lack of sleep and chewed fingernails fill my nights
and lackluster eyes and inattentivness, my days.
Withdrawing and reconnecting.
Trying to get into the holiday spirit.
It's hard when there is so much to be unthankful for.
Someone always leaves me this time of year.
Maybe this year, it'll be me.
